1, The performance characteristics of the proximity switch:
Among all kinds of switches, there is a component that has the ability to “sense” the object close to it – the displacement sensor.
Using the sensitive characteristics of the displacement sensor to the approaching object to control the switch on or off, this is the proximity switch.
When an object moves toward the proximity switch and is close to a certain distance, the displacement sensor has “perception” and the switch will act. This distance is usually called the “detection distance”. Different proximity switches have different detection distances.
Sometimes the detected objects move toward the approach switch one by one and leave one by one at a certain time interval, so that they are repeated constantly. Different proximity switches have different response ability to detected objects. This response characteristic is called the “response frequency”.
- Matters that should be noted during use:
1) The detected body should not contact the proximity switch, so as not to damage the proximity switch due to friction and collision
2) Pulling the access switch lead wire by hand will damage the access switch, and it is best to use a wire card to fix the lead wire at 10 cm from the switch when installing it
3) Foot access switch should not be used, and it is best to set the protective cover shell when installing
4) The use distance of the switch should be set within 2/3 of the rated distance, so as not to be affected by temperature and voltage, and the level of temperature and voltage will affect the sensitivity of the proximity switch.
